Exhibition HEBREHELGIS AND TINATOLMUS

The full title of the exhibition opening in the permanent exhibition box on the second floor of the Valga Museum is “Silver Beads and Tin Dust. 145 Years of Printing and Journalism in Valga County”, and it has been compiled by Kaarel Vissel, our museum's curator. The exhibition tells the story of how printing and journalism have functioned in Valga County at different times. This activity has continued in different parts of the county, producing consumer goods as well as literature. News has been disseminated to the people of the region and beyond, including some quite surprising areas. We welcome former long-time journalist Taimi Käos to attend the event and speak on local journalism.
