Competition to find the best centres in South Estonia starts

October is Civil Protection Month, when the Rescue Board carries out various national or regional crisis preparedness activities. In South Estonia, one of these activities is the selection and recognition of the best community emergency centres in the region. With the slogan „In fact, I have the best crisis preparedness in Livonia!“. you can nominate your community hub until 15 October.

A crisis centre is a local authority or community building/room where people can go for help, advice and information in times of crisis. The Southern Rescue Centre is looking for the most operational and crisis-resistant or 2025 Community hub of the year. This is a way of recognising and acknowledging the leaders of the South-Estonian community clusters and a good opportunity to plan further cooperation on crisis preparedness.

The Community Cluster Leader can register for the CECE competition in their county from 1 to 15 October 2025 by filling in a questionnaire in Google Forms: https://forms.gle/qd9SLZvjTkeAg3xdA.

On 31 October, the results will be unveiled and the prizes will be awarded in the best on-site roundhouse in the county. Each of the best community garden centres in South Estonia will receive a prize and a crisis preparedness booster, including a crisis food box, a gas camping stove and a wall plaque with the words „County's 2025 Garden Centre of the Year“.
