Aktsiaselts Laatre Piim has submitted an application to the Environment Agency for. for an amendment to a complex environmental permit. The application concerns the Laatre cattle farm, which is a dairy farm.
Up to 1415 dairy cows, 1215 heifers and 500 calves are kept on the farm. The company is looking to upgrade manure management - diverting manure to a biomethane plant and storing digestate in the farm stores.
The activities will take place in the municipality of Valga, in the village of Laatre on properties
- Kesk tn 15 (cadastral map 82002:001:1251);
- Calf farm (cadastral map 82002:001:1210).
