Valga Liivimaa Mihklilaat attracted over a thousand visitors

On 11 October, the city of Valga once again became a true autumn capital - the Livonian Mihklilaat 2025 took place!

The fair went perfectly, and by the beginning of the fair the sun came out from behind the clouds, adding warmth and joy to the day. During the day, more than a thousand visitors - from Valga, Valka and further afield - took part in the fair.

The crowd was treated to a colourful and varied fair with everything from handicrafts, local produce, autumn sand and much more.

The cultural programme was spiced up with a free concert by Toomas Ann, which brought a lot of joy and sing-along to the fair.

There was a separate children's area where they could ride the carousel, have fun on the trampoline and explore the exciting agricultural machinery.

Hardo Adamson, Director of the Valga Cultural Centre, said: “Livonia Mihklilaat is more than just a trade fair. It is a meeting place where people from Valga and Valka get together again, exchange ideas and enjoy being together. It's a pleasure to see how the fair has grown into a true autumn tradition, bringing life, hustle and bustle and good spirits to our cities.”

Valga Municipality would like to thank the team of the Valga Cultural Centre for organising the fun fair!

Thank you also to all the traders, visitors and partners who made the day a real autumn highlight!
