On Tuesday, 30 September, Valga's elderly celebrants of dignified age gathered at the Cultural Centre at the invitation of the Mayor of the municipality to celebrate their birthdays together. The birthday children, who had celebrated their 70th or even bigger jubilee in the last six months, were invited.
The jubilarians were congratulated by the mayor of the municipality, Monika Rogenbaum, who also presented each birthday child with a sweet present. „A jubilee is a beautiful milestone, a time to pause and take a moment to look back on the past, reflect on the present and look to the future. Your experience and wisdom are a great asset to our community. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you good health, joy of life and many beautiful moments in your daily life in the company of your loved ones,“ said the Mayor in his welcome speech.
Paul Neitsov provided a wonderful musical experience for the birthday guests with his memorable concert.
